RETURNS

Returns Policy

Stacks And Stacks will accept returns within 30 days from the date that the order was received by the customer. All return inquires must be made within 30 days. Failure to contact us, will affect our ability to process the return and any corresponding credit to your account. Please visit our Contact Us page and choose Returns from the drop down menu, or call 1-800-761-5222 for return instructions.

Some of our products are shipped from our California warehouse but most are directly shipped from manufacturers across the country, and returns can be handled differently.

Warehouse returns:

Items shipped directly from Stacks And Stacks warehouse will have a return slip located inside the box.

  • Please fill out the required fields noting: Order number, First / last name and the reason for return.
  • Once the return slip has been completed the document must be placed inside the box and sealed for transport.
  • Please note it is your responsibility to return the unit at no cost to Stacks And Stacks.
  • Stacks And Stacks does not provide return shipping boxes.
  • Stacks And Stacks recommends FedEx (Federal Express) and/or UPS (United Parcel Services)
  • For your protection Stacks And Stacks recommends that all packages are insured.

Manufacture "Drop ship" Returns:

  • Stacks And Stacks customer service department must be notified before the return of any drop ship item. Customer service can be reached @ 800-761-5222 Business hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-5:00pm PST
  • Some manufacturers charge restocking fees (Qualifying item/s will be noted)
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) may be required
  • Return merchandise MUST contain all original documents and packaging
  • In some cases it may be required to disassemble the item before a return can be approved
  • Stacks And Stacks will not be held liable for the cost of personal choice returns nor does Stacks And Stacks provide return shipping boxes.
  • Stacks And Stacks recommends FedEx (Federal Express) and/or UPS (United Parcel Services).
  • For your protection Stacks And Stacks recommends that all packages are insured.
  • Upon receipt of the returned merchandise and/or the return tracking number, a credit will be issued to your account. All credits will be completed within 30 days, or no more than two credit card billing cycles. Any orders paid by check or money order will be refunded by check. When returning merchandise directly to one of our manufacturers, it is critical that you provide Stacks And Stacks with the return tracking number, so that we can verify the return, and apply any necessary credit.

This may also apply to damaged and/or defective items.

White Glove delivery returns:

  • Stacks And Stacks customer service department will need to be notified before the return of any drop ship item.
  • One of the best ways to avoid the need for a personal choice return on white glove items is to measure all doors and entrance ways the item(s) will be moving through prior to purchase to ensure the item(s) will fit inside your home, office, etc.
  • Customers wishing to return merchandise weighing 100 lbs or more are required to sign and return an authorization document confirming personal choice returns (Form will be provided by Stacks And Stacks customer service), all complaints must be received within 30 days of receipt.
  • Some manufacturers charge restocking fees (Qualifying item/s will be noted)
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) may be required
  • Return merchandise MUST contain all original documents and packaging
  • In some cases it may be required to disassemble the item before a return can be approved.
  • If merchandise is returned due to personal choice, item/s will not be accepted outside a shipping carton (Brown cardboard box Required)
  • Neither Stacks And Stacks nor the manufacture provide return shipping boxes.
  • Item/s weighing over 100 lbs will need to be returned via freight (Freight carrier of your choice)
  • All personal choice returns must be arranged by the customer after Stacks And Stacks customer service has been notified.

Additional return information:

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees, and the original shipping fee will be deducted from any credit. Additionally, if your purchase qualified for "Free Shipping" the actual cost of shipping of your item will be deducted from your refund. To determine these costs please refer to the Shipping Section of our site.

Should any returns get damaged (or lost) during (return) shipping the customer is responsible for filing any and all claims with the carrier (as Stacks and Stacks will be unable to provide a credit for damaged or lost merchandise). Therefore, we recommend you insure the package(s). After 30 days we reserve the right to refuse a return. The refund for any granted returns after such time will consist of store credit for item cost minus any applicable fees. Altering an item from its original condition in any way negates the possibility of the item being returned.

Customized items such as Address plaques, mailboxes, door mats etc. are non-returnable.

Bedding materials (Mattress, Pillows etc.) are not returnable if the protective plastic packaging has been removed.

Any item that poses a health risk due to possible use (toilet brushes, plungers, etc.) cannot be returned.

Canadian Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with a Stacks and Stacks purchase or gift for any reason, please return it for a refund.  Please note that this refund will include all duties and taxes that were initially paid on the items you are returning.  Our customer care center will assist you with processing your return; please follow the instructions listed below:

How do I return something?

  1. Please contact our customer support team at 1-800-761-5222, 7:00-5:00 PST or, to email us, please visit our Contact Us page and choose Returns in the drop down menu, indicating your Stacks and Stacks order number, a description of the item you wish to return and the reason for return.
  2. Based on the items being returned, we will communicate to you the exact value of your credit for the item(s) being returned. You will be credited for the product value and any related duties and taxes, less return handling fees for customs and brokerage, and restocking fees if applicable.
  3. Stacks and Stacks will communicate to you the mailing address for our Canadian returns facility.
  4. Clearly identify our Canadian returns facility address as the destination on the package labeling. When returning merchandise to Stacks and Stacks, carefully wrap the items and return them to the Canadian address provided with shipping charges prepaid. C.O.D. returns cannot be accepted and will be refused.

  6. Put the returning item(s) and a copy of the original Packing Slip (with the Reason for Return Service section completed) in the original shipment packaging. Please include all product-packing materials.
  7. Present the package to any carrier, take the package to any post office counter or drop the package at any authorized carrier outlet to have your return shipped to the Canadian address provided. You may wish to insure your package for the full replacement value with your chosen carrier.
  8. Once received at our returns facility, your package will be forwarded to us in the U.S. and we will credit your return once the package has been received and processed in the U.S., typically within 14 to 30 business days after the package is sent.
  9. Credit card companies vary in the time it takes for a "credit" to appear on your monthly statement. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Be sure to open and inspect all packages immediately upon receipt! Stacks and Stacks must be notified within 30-days of your receipt if any item is damaged, defective, or missing parts. Please call our office during our regular business hours, or to send an email, please visit our Contact Us page and choose Damaged/Defective Item in the drop down menu. Failure to contact our office within 30-days may void our Returns / Damaged Item policy.

If the package appears to have been slightly damaged during transit, we encourage you to write "Package Damaged" on the slip when you sign for it.

If the package is severely damaged you can refuse to accept delivery of the shipment. Please let us know if this occurs so that we are aware of the situation, and can replace your order, if desired.

Be sure to keep all packaging, including interior packing materials and any interior and/ or exterior boxes so that Stacks and Stacks can submit a damage claim with the freight carrier. Items must be returned in the original packaging.

Stacks and Stacks reserves the right to supply replacement parts whenever possible to correct any damaged or defective component of an item. Replacement parts, offered at our discretion, can often eliminate the need to return an item, or to replace the entire unit. Such replacement parts, will be sent via regular ground delivery, at no cost to the customer. When a damaged product is returned, the credit will include any shipping costs due.
