A Futon Bunk Bed is the ultimate in space saving bedroom furniture designs. Perfect for the kids' room, this bunkbed set features a twin bunk on top and a futon underneath. The futon functions as a couch for everyday use, and can be pulled out at night for sleepover guests. Country mixed with modern styling makes it a sure fit for any youthful style. Designed and engineered with safety in mind, these bunk beds have heavy gauge metal tubing with pine accents, full-length guardrails, and a sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladder can be used on either side of bed. Uses a standard twin size mattress and full size futon mattress (not included). Made for a twin size mattress that is 74-75" long and 37.5-38.5" wide on the upper bunk. Bunk bed is tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513. Maximum total weight is not to exceed 300 lbs. on the upper bunk.
